PERSONAL NOTE

Hi all,

February is a month with many things to celebrate and think about. We had Valentine's Day, a day to express our love and gratitude to our loved ones.

This is American Heart Month, a time when we can all focus on our cardiovascular health. It is also the month where you "Rock Your Red!" and wear red to raise awareness about cardiovascular disease, the number 1 killer of women.

February 17th is the Random Act of Kindness Day. It was initiated in 1995 in Denver, Colorado by a nonprofit organization called The Random Acts Of Kindness Foundation. The event spread to New Zealand nine years later, in 2004, and the observance of the holiday became more and more widespread.

Join me on Friday, February 17th by doing one random act of kindness.

Here are some activities you could do.

1. Compliment a stranger

2. Treat a homeless person to lunch

3. Anonymously donate to a charity

Come and visit me on Facebook at RetirementCoachSharon let me know you're in for a random act of kindness.
